1963 Rambler Ranch

This 1963 Rambler Ranch had a dreary, dim, and boxed in kitchen. The owner’s purchased the home and before moving in they wanted to make the home feel open and modern, but retain its timeless classic soul. We opened up the kitchen to both the fireplace room and the dining room by removing 20 feet of wall. We made the space come alive with new ambient, task, and indirect lighting. We made very modern lines with a quartz backsplash free from busy outlets, while we kept the old soul of natural walnut. We made every guest smile with a hidden basement door.
